My absolute favorite thing about this notepad is that it features imagery that pays homage to the ‘floating shopping list’ drawn by Mr. I love it when subscription boxes include products that work in combination with one another. This spiral notepad goes hand-in-hand with the adorable SpongeBob bobblehead pen. I’ll definitely be using this while on the go, whether running errands or packing a few items for a day trip. The quote on the bag says, “No one touches me booty and gets away with it.” I don’t think they could have done anything else with this bag to make me love it more. Above all, though, I really got a kick out of how the Flying Dutchman’s nemesis, fellow pirate ghost Lord Poltergeist’s photo adorns the bag, along with one of his infamous quotes, a callback to one of the spooky episodes. It definitely gives off that spooky Halloween vibe they were going for. There’s a nice-sized zipper pouch at the bottom of the bag that will be especially useful for storing a phone charger, gum, and any other smaller items that can easily get swallowed up among the rest of the items one might chuck into a tote. This tote bag is made out of that lightweight waterproof-type of material that combats raindrops like a true ‘Employee of the Month’ (SpongeBob pun intended). It’s like the best of both worlds - functional items that feature some of my favorite characters? Yes, please. Squidward Vinyl StatueĪlthough I enjoy the collectible items included in this box, there’s nothing better than a themed box that also includes functional items. I’m going to break out this bad boy every Halloween and stick it up somewhere to put me in the spooky spirit. This is an item that will absolutely please any of the hardcore collectors out there.
Spongebob hash slinging slasher scream free#
This poster is a bit smaller than a usual ‘poster.’ I would call it more of a mini-poster, and as someone who doesn’t have much free wall space, that’s fine with me. Now, as an adult, I have the ability to appreciate the ridiculousness of this episode, and this poster definitely evokes that same essence, from the bold, theatrical font, to the inclusion of the rusty spatula. In it, while working the graveyard shift (wink-wink), a bored Squidward comes up with a spooky tale to scare SpongeBob. The first time I saw the iconic ‘Hash-Slinging Slasher’ episode as a child, it shook me right to my core. Seriously though, this poster took me way, way back. No… It can’t be… Not the- the Hash-Slinging Slasher! Cue the cartoonish screams. In Los Angeles, it’s getting chilly enough for a light jacket, and I can assure you, I will be kept cozy and warm in this hoodie. The material itself is quite thin but it is lined entirely with fleece, which is a win for me. It looks like they were going for the look of some of the old-school horror film posters, and it definitely works. This hoodie has an awesome color scheme that’s almost giving me glow-in-the-dark vibes. From what I remember, this episode itself made quite an impact with an unsettling ending - a quick glimpse at Bikini Bottom existing in a sort of afterlife, complete with characters enveloped by the iconic green outlines of ultimate ghostliness. The name “Ghoul Fools” is an homage to the episode that brings back the ghostly Flying Dutchman and his nemesis, Lord Poltergeist. This hoodie is by far my favorite item in this quarter’s box.
